I am an animal lover trying to make a difference
Hi and welcome to my website. My name is Michelle Makar and I live in Berwick, Pennsylvania. I am married with two teenagers, one in college and the other a Junior in high school. Currently, I am working towards earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Studies with a focus in Organizational Communication.
In our household we have two beagles, Hunter and Holly. Though we did not adopt or shop for them they still needed our love and support. I have created this site in hopes that this will be an encouragement to others to perhaps consider adoption while looking for their pet. As you will see the need is great. The circumstances for some of these animals have been very rough. They have been either abandoned, abused, or been in a natural disaster area.
